NCAR Scientists Talk Climate Change with Students

When we can’t go to the experts because of social distancing, we bring them to us (virtually)! A panel of scientists from the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) took time away to talk to us about their climate work. Each shared their unique perspective on how scientists are contributing to change around climate issues. After the individual presentations, students got to chat with the experts via Q&A breakout groups.

“One person can make a lot of change in the world if they know how to do it. So by being the one to realize how to make that change you can impact others to follow you and help make change. Watershed school is giving us such a large head start into the real world problems of today and has gotten me past the point of hopelessness and made me realize my own power to do good for the planet. “
