All juniors and seniors take part in Watershed School’s College Institute. We assist students in finding and gaining admission to colleges which best match and honor their unique skills and interests, and where students can be happy and successful. This course provides intensive support for the college application process, helps students narrow their college list, craft their applications, request reference letters, write excellent admission essays, use their Watershed portfolio to maximize the potential for acceptance and manage communications with colleges. There is on-site study support for the PSAT/SAT/ACT tests.

Students learn about financial aid and scholarship options and how to relax and approach the college application process in an upbeat, practical and fun manner.

“Watershed will foster terrific confidence in its students and allow them to develop great academic agility and a deep interest in learning. While we see students applying from nearly 4000 high schools each year, the majority of them feed into a sea of normalcy that defines many applicant pools—Watershed is one of those few that will stand-out.”

Matthew Hyde, Assistant Director of Admissions, Tufts University
